Creating posters “oil on canvas” from photos

The creation of posters is the latest trend of modern art. This direction began to gain fame quite recently. It was not accidentally introduced to the contemporary art market. With its whole concept, this art meets the needs of consumers who are very fond of natural painting, but who do not have the opportunity to purchase a painting from an artist.

The meaning of this work is that if the customer cannot afford to purchase the desired work of art, then he is invited to purchase a large-scale print that imitates an oil painting on canvas.

This way of satisfying the need for culture was invented by a modern and promising artist who has the opportunity not only to put up his works for sale, but also to openly sell copies of them in the form of posters, which differ little from the natural picture. Following this principle, you can enjoy at home not only great works of art, but also your favorite photographs. The market in this business is wide and still not covered.

Transforming canvas into a poster

A very entertaining principle has been developed that allows us to make a real picture on canvas from a familiar photo. However, in addition to a simple printout, you need to bring your share of creativity into the work. The scheme is to select the picture of interest, print it, and make it “transform” into canvas. This is accomplished using conventional spot gluing of specially processed photographs on a canvas base. This technology is suitable for those who love to make a real work of art with their own hands.

The above method has its own minus: it is undesirable to hang such a picture without glass. The fact is that a real photograph is glued to the base, which at the same time has a global volume and a very thin paper structure. Such detailed and “delicate” work requires increased attention.

Another significant problem lies in the fact that the canvas covered with glass may look very neat, but at the same time there is a minimum of opportunity to see the artist’s natural touches on it. However, this minus applies to those cases when a painted picture is displayed on the canvas. In the case of a photograph, such inconvenience will not arise, and the picture will look fascinating.

However, such work should be done by a professional. This is explained by the fact that it is not enough to take a picture and reprint it on canvas, it is also necessary to artificially achieve naturalness. The result should convey not only the plot depicted, but also the sensations of working with oil, that is, glare of paint, the naturalness and naturalness of brush strokes. This is all difficult to achieve without any experience.

However, even if there are minor flaws and disadvantages in the work, a beautiful frame in the form of a frame and glass cover will brighten up the situation. Thus, the initial result should give the viewer the impression that the picture is natural, and no additional work has been done.

It is also worth noting that working better with a classic image. Of course, you can experiment and create something unusual. However, there are doubts that such creativity will be pleasing to the eye. So, you can work with any material, the main thing is that your desires coincide with the possibilities.

Such works are also creativity and are also considered manual labor, because in order to prepare a photograph for further printing, it must be processed. To do this is not so simple, for this you need the presence of skills and a concept of what the final result should be. Also, refinement can add the necessary visual effects to the overall image.

Suppose, when printing photos on canvas, there may be problems with the gloss of the composition. Yes, such a design is already considered a painting, but we must not forget that this is just a photo transferred to solid material. By their properties, the pictures have a significant gloss, which may not be very pleasing to the eyes, when it comes to large-scale size.

Unfortunately, many modern photographers are not aware of this technology and therefore miss a large number of promising opportunities. Among them there are also demanded authors, whose creations are very popular among society, and if they tried to implement such works of their art, they would be able to double the fee received.

Absolutely any creativity makes sense. This is especially true for those projects that could please many people with their unusualness.
